Meeting with the Governor

Yes, this is the first time theArizona Governor has vistied Kingman during Andy Devine Days.    Our Queen Mum Joan took this opportunity to present Governor Janet Napolitano with a Red Hat and a Purple Prose Name Badge and inducted her into the Purple Prose Chapter of the Red Hat Society.   Of course Queen Joan, gracious as ever, taught the Governor our Official Greeting.

Andy Devine Days Parade was to also present our lovely Mayor, Monica Gates, with her own Red Hat and Purple Prose Badge as she too was welcomed into the Purple Prose Chapter of the
Red Hat Society!
