Here are some of the comments that have been passed on to Purple Prose:

Great team work by Purple Prose and their Dukes!
We were delighted with the Champagne surprise from The Aquarius at the Hotel Registration area.
(Sorry if you were not among those lucky ladies that were able sip as they registered).
The Event Registration went smoothly too... except for those that came without their tickets. We wondered what they would do if they were going to a play or a concert - could they have attended?
Shopping was terrific - lots to see and not over-crowded -
loved the 'rest' area set up by the bars in the Foyer.
The Purple Prose Ambassadors who were also hostesses
that helped all find their reserved tables - a great touch!
The Table Hostesses and the gifts they passed out each evening were wonderful. As was the Saturday "Cake" centerpieces". The great surprise Bare Escentuals gift on Sunday deserved double-wows!
Saturday's Sashay on the Riverwalk was topped off with the Drinks
& Gifts and some of us even found Limo rides back to the Aquarius!
The Food was wonderful - quite delicious - and served so well - Hooray- no Buffets!
The Entertainment was "over-the-top" Charlie Conners and his Band; Roy Oberson (Mark Barnett) with
the Purple Prose theme song "Pretty Woman" really jump started the weekend on Friday.
Saturday's Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton
(Marty Edwards & Sandy Anderson) - Amazing entertainment - First Class!.
And then there was that Birthday Cake with the 3 magic ingredients - Yummmm
The Door Prizes were awesome - wish I had won!
Loved the "extras" such as Thursdays's burger dinner at In N Out,
Saturday's Red Nose Breakfast at McDonald's and the Left Over's Dam Tour on Sunday!

Read more Nice words from Sin City Pat, the 'baker" of the giant Birthday cake!
Debbie from Las Vegas, aka Lady Flower Child has more kind words!

Many Events have kept us busy this year -
in fact so many that we have not been able to keep this page up-to-date. Our Apologies!

December 2, 2007 - It was "T" Party time ( click the words for a slide show) this afternoon in Kingman. Kate, Lady De Luna, and Jeanette, Lady BeeKeeper arranged this nice event. Kate even prevailed upon Santa to add to the spirit and her grandson, Haydon, to play holiday music while we nibbled and chatted. A good way to spend a Saturday afternoon in December.

November 6, 2007 - Our last dinner at the Hampton Inn - Birthdays were celebrated, much talk about the success of Tri State "T" and of course good companionship and excellent food served up by Chef Gault and his crew - yummmm yummm

April 3, 2007
- Reduation at the Hampton Inn - before Dinner we were all treated to the thrill of a Real Reduation honoring a Pink Hatter who has always been so generous with her time and talents. Take a look at the photos. This evening not only saw this event, but we celebrated birthdays and said a fond fairwell to Dodie as she stepped down as Contessa of the Evening. Pictures galore!

March 10, 2007 - Girl Scout Tea at the Grace Luthern Church was another success headed by Terry, Lady Tucky of the Brownies. Over 75 girls attended along with serveral of our Red Hat Ladies. Kelly, Lady in Waiting of the Beads, was Kitchen Wench and arranged for all the good food and tea that was served.

March 6, 2007 - The Lunch Bunch celebrated many March Birthdays and welcomed new Members. A good time as usual and with good friends.

February 23 & 24, 2007 - Frolic on Fremont - Las Vegas will never be the same! Did we have fun? YES! Friday night's Meet N Greet was also a treat! We couldn't stop talking and laughling as the Hors D'oeuvres were served and Songsters appointed. Saturday's photo session at the Four Queens on Fremont Street preceded the Sashay led by Queen Bette. The elegant welcome on Saturday night at the Golden Nugget along with the terrific dinner, and oh the dessert, was topped off with top-shelf entertainment and the winner of the trip to New York, New York.

February 6, 2007 - Dinner at the Hampton Inn - a buzz went around the room as the ladies walked in and saw the spacious comfortable room set up. This evening 83 ladies made reservations with Dodie, Contessa of the evening! We cannot always promise room for this big a crowd.. but wow.. it was fun. Lot's of Birthday ladies this month! Enjoy the photos...

January 2, 2007 - Our First afternoon luncheon at The Hampton Inn - a wonderful time - lot's of chatter, good food and wonderful prizes donated by Grace, Lady of the Lighthouse. Part of the fun is getting together with new and old friends to chat and compare hats! That we did!
