1- When can we buy tables/seats? On Tuesday, April 15, 7:30 AM, PSDT.
(A) There were NO pre-sold seats. If you ANSWERED QUESTIONS about your seating preferences when you asked to receive an "Early Notice" about Tri State "T", you did NOT buy or Reserve seats. We apologize if you thought otherwise. As stated at the time you chose to be on the "Early Notice" list "Tickets will be sold on this site only and on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis"
(B) Buses and Large groups are part of our history and our success. We thank the ladies that have put in their time and their efforts into filling a large bus area; they too have made commitments of their time for the enjoyment of others. It would be impossible for these ladies to make their arrangements if we did not work hand-in-hand with them during the planing stages of our events... as we have done since the begining of Tri State "T".2 - How will I get my ticket for Tri State "T" 6 ?
This year we are selling seats/tickets on-line only. You must use a credit card for your purchase. You'll have the opportunity to print your order and Acteva will send a Confirmation Letter immediately to your eMail address. Keep that in a safe place! All 3 day seating is reserved and you will select your table when you pay for your seat on-line. Be sure to bring your ID and confirmation with you ~ NO ticket(s) will be mailed AND only those whose names appear on our Official Registration List will be admitted. - FYI - Your Confirmation Letter IS your E-Tickets (E= Electronic)
3 - May I buy the seats for my friends and use two credit cards?
Yes, but each credit card used will take a separate order. It's easy to do.4 - Do I have to list everyone's name on the order form?
It's a good plan, otherwise the buyer of the tickets must be with her full group so they may each get their wrist bands at the event. No one is admitted whose name is not on our Official List (show your Confiramtion Letter OR a matching photo Identification.) Only those whose names appear on our Official Registration List will be admitted. It's easy to list everyone's name! -. Click and read a limited time offer. Purple Prose will do name changes at NO CHARGE before September 15, 2008 only.5 - Why aren't all the tables available to me?
The Purple Prose ladies have worked on this event every year for 6 years - this is the first year they have been properly thanked by being able to pre-select their own seats. Also, several ladies planned a long time in advance for their groups to attend, mostly via buses, and were alloted certain sections. BTW - have you tried selling seats on a bus without available seating at your special destination?6 - Will you reserve a table for us?
NO - arrangement for buses and large groups were made very early on. No changes can be made now.7- How many Seats at a Table and are they numbered?
All of the tables have only 10 chairs. The Seats/chairs do not actually have numbers on them - the 'seat' number on your writstband is used for door prize drawings and other special surprises.
8 - May two or three of us share one ticket?
No, we have found the most efficient way to check people in and let them enjoy the events is by exchanging a Holographic Bracelet for your Confirmation/ticket when you arrive. Therefore, each person must wear a trouble-free wrist-band indicating her table number and seat number - the number used for prize drawings..9 - May I order tickets after our group meets later this month?
Well, if you do, you may be on a Waiting List. Last year we sold out within 3 days worth of mail. From the early feed back we have received we wouldn't be surprised to be sold out within 3 hours, just like the Hannah Montana concerts!.
10 - May I just attend Friday's dinner, the Saturday dinner or the breakfast?
Yes, but the ticket is for all three events, separate tickets are not sold.11 - Do I need a ticket to Sashay, Vamp and Strut Your Stuff on the Riverwalk Parade?
NO! This event is open to all in Red Hat Regalia. On Saturday Morning plan to be outside the Aquarius's Splash at 10:45 AM for the 11:00 AM start. Watch for the Leaders with the Pom Poms!12 - What does the ticket actually cover?
Three days of events starting at 6:00 PM with a great sit down dinner on Friday, another served dinner on Saturday and a fully served scrumptious breakfast on Sunday along with great entertainment, prizes and favors. Of course your addmission is included for M' Lady's Closet - 2 days worth of Red Hat shopping. Take this opportunity to enjoy the company of Red Hat members in the Tri State area and beyond. Please keep in mind, we do not have a paid staff - we just pass on the costs. Where else can you go for so much fun for so little? Enjoy Painting Laughlin Red for the 6th year !13 - Should we arrive at the events early to be sure we get a table?
Absolutely not - All seating is at reserved tables. You'll receive a wrist band showing your table and seat number. We do not want you standing in lines before the doors are opened at 5:30 PM on Friday and Saturday. Our plan is to not crowd the doors as we know you'll feel better if you can just walk in, sit down and enjoy - right? - So, NO early arrivals, ok?
14 - Why is the Seating Chart on the web site?
The Purple Prose has traditionally approached seating differently than other Red Hat events. This year each guest selects her own table. We know that with reserved tables huge crowds at the door ways are eliminated. This is the "no Surprises" approach to seating; Special Needs ladies are escorted into the ballroom before the doors are open to all.15 - Will I be able to see the stage?
The Focal Point of the ballroom is the Dance Floor in the middle of the room along with the stage. Screens are placed around the room to provide good views for all.
16 - What is the menu and why is there no "Afternoon Tea" at Tri State "T"?
We listened to the suggestions and learned that many would like to shop, play and sight see during the day while in Laughlin. At this point we can't devulge the menus but we do know the chef is planing good food for your enjoyment at both dinners and breakfast. If you have Special Diet needs, the opportunity to order Vegetarian, Gluten Free or Dietetic meals when purchasing your your seats is available - OR write to us before September 10, 2008.
17 - Does the Tri State "T" Registration fee include the room?
No.... you'll each have to book and pay for your own rooms. Click here for the special rate for our Red Hat attendees along with the special code and phone number you'll need. The hotel will charge for your full stay at the time of booking. Our special rate is valid until September 10, 2008. After that rack rates will be charged, if there are any rooms available.. Normal rates at this time of year are about $75.00+ per weekend night. And the rooms have been remodeled.18 - Are you having a Pajama Breakfast?
No.... Hotel check out is 11:00 AM and we want you to have plenty of time to enjoy breakfast dressed in your casual Red Hat clothing. However, your favorite Teddy Bear, Mascot, or other inanimate creature may be dressed as you please as she/he/it sits in the center of your table for our most unusual "Furry Friends on Route 66 Breakfast".19 - Is the fee per Person Only for the "T"?
The seating for Tri State "T" is for three great events - and 2 days of shopping for Red Hat goodies in M' Lady's Closet ~ More bang for the buck as they say - As in the past we anticipate you'll be pleasantly surprised with the value received at this Tri State "T".
20 - May I bring my husband with me?
Only Members of the Red Hat Society may attend our Meals, Entertainment and Shopping area. There's lots to do in Laughlin if you want to bring him along but, my dear, he is not welcome at our events or in our shopping area. If you do spy any "Dukes" or "Dukettes" at our event, chances are he or she is a very hard working relative of a Purple Prose member.21 - Is there a WAITING LIST?
YES, but it's up to you to sign up for it. Please only do this once. A Waiting List is maintained after all seats are sold. Since you will provide your name(s) and address at the time of sign-up it's an easy transaction when you are contacted with seat offer(s). When seats become avaialable we'll ask you if you still want seat(s) and we'll send you a link to Acteva. NO money is collected before we can offer seats. It's up to YOU to accept or decline the offer.
We do not have a crystal ball and cannot tell those on the waiting list "If or When" they'll receive a ticket offer, but we know from past experience that "things happen" and people do drop out as time for the event grows closer - even at the last moment when refunds are not possible. Every year we have seen ladies attend carrying 'extra' tickets as perhaps one of their ladies took ill or whatever. We even have a bulletin board for messages like that and we remember that several ladies have been able to attend that way.
22 - Something unexpected has happened - may I have a refund for TsT6?
Yes, but only within the limits listed on your Confirmation Letter. Please read the Refund Policy when you are ordering your seats- and it is printed on your Confirmation Letter form from Acteva.
23 - Are there rules for the Centerpiece ?
YES and a Contest too. We suggest you read and print the Contest information and Da Rules on the Entry Form. Remember not only is width & height important; there are other restrictions you need to know about ..Check it out!! Please be aware that only "official" approved centerpiece entries may be placed on a table.24 - What should I wear?

Take a look at the Extra Events that are happening this particular weekend in Laughlin. We have leared about the "Silly Breakfast" for Saturday morning, the "Left Over Dam Tour" for Sunday afternoon and more! And then imagine the excitment when you participate in the "Sashay, Vamp and Strut Your Stuff on the Riverwalk" Parade Saturday at 11 AM. Don't forget our sporting event: Shopping in "M' Lady's Closet" with exclusive Red Hat Vendors.
And of course there's the gambling, bingo, swimming, walking, movies, food courts and buffets that Laughlin offers to all. Remember, our great hotel rate is open to all Red Hatters - This may be the opportunity for a "girl freinds getaway" , a slumber party or maybe you'll want to plan to come to Laughlin for a grand outing no matter what! Use your imagination and come up with a great name for your adventure - "The Nose to the Fence Gang" or better yet, the "Independence Weekend"
26 - Can everyone shop at M' Lady's Closet?
NO! You must be a Red Hat Society member and wear your special wrist band to attend the shopping event which is held in the in the Gemini, Scorpio & Pisces Rooms in the Arizona Tower at the Aquarius. This is a great opportunity for Red Hat Members to shop for all your Red Hat needs and wants. > > When you are shopping you'll also have the luxury to sit, chat & relax and listen to some music too as drinks and sweets will be offered for sale in our NEW Route 66 Lounge.27 - How will I get my ticket for this Shoppng event?
Those registered for the 3-day Tri State "T" will receive special wrist bands when they arrive at the TsT6 Registration area. All others must register to attend our shopping event - this "private" event is only for Red Hat Society members! Shopping Pass is $2.00 in advance and $3.00 at the door. Do see the Order Form with instructions on how to order, etc.
28 - Who are the Vendors in M'Lady's Closet?
Your favorite vendors will be in M' Lady's Closet .. This is great opportunity for Red Hat Members to shop for all their Red Hat needs and wants. This is a "private" event only for Red Hatters! Click Here to learn more!
