Tri State "T" ~ October, 2003
Ladies, yes,
we all expected our Tri State "T"
to have 'goodies' that appeared similar to those in this picture. Alas, it
wasn't to be. However, The Purple Prose of Kingman AND The River
Palms sincerely regret the incidents with tea and the scones and so forth.
This was truly not expected and
the Casino has issued a partial refund.
Since we
are not in the "business" of making a profit (Our only business
is Having Fun!) we are so very pleased to announce that we have reached a
settlement with The River Palms and we are issuing a $5.00
coupon to every lady that paid for her Tri State Tea ticket. The
Coupons are being mailed to all the Queens, and others, that sent their checks
to the Purple Prose.
What will you do with the coupon? The Coupon may be applied to any 2004
Purple Prose of Kingman event ! How about attending another Purple
Prose affair? Be sure to look at our calendar
and see what event you'd like to attend. For example we highly recomend .

The this two day event will surely be the highlight of 2004's trip to Laughlin,
Nevada!
We are anticipating the same enthusiastic participation from Red Hat Queens
throughout the Tri State Area and this will therefore become another Paint
Laughlin Red weekend to remember!

- The
Tri State Tea weekend started on Saturday morning in Laughlin with
a Brunch at the Colorado Belle arranged by Queen Judi, Bodacious Babes. Saturday
afternoon found the ladies shopping in Room 215 (I think the world was there!)
and Saturday night began with a bang up time at the River Walk Vamp and Strut
Parade arranged by Audacious, Rosie Red Hatters. We
loved Toochie's Kazoo band - next year everyone must have a kazoo! Many Red
Hatters left the Strut and Vamp and went to see the Rightous Bros at the Flamingo.

on the Bodacious Babes site. The evening wrapped up with a great PJ party
hosted by Queen Wannabe Joanie from the Hemet Hotsy Totsys with games and
prizes!
Sunday came early in the morning when the Red Hatters met for breakfast at
the Colorado Belle and took the senic Red Hat River Cruse (thanks
again Queen Judi!). Barely
did they return from the cruise when it was time for the TRI STATE TEA - at
the River Palms ~ certainly an unforgetable event that will be talked about
for a long time. What fun to have all those door prizes donated by so many
and the Treasure Chest awards - topped off by the fantastic Dancin'
Steps of Pahrump! Ladies, you did a superb job - so light on your feet
and so lovely to see - and none of will dare to admit to ever being lonely
after Scottie's solo "Are you Lonely Tonight?" ~ Thanks Baroness
